Victorian Interclub, Phillip Island 2nd May 2009

On Saturday 2nd of May, Tracey competed in the Victorian Interclub series.

Other riders competing in the series with Tracey were Australian supersport competitors Jed Metcher & Kris McClaren.

Race 1 Tracey finished 17th out of 39 riders, Race 2 Tracey was 13th by lap 3 and unfortunately crashed at Turn 1.

"I was feeling great and while the rear tyre felt a little greasy, the bike felt great also.

I was in 13th position by lap 3, chasing down the guy in front of me, I could see the top 10 in my sights and going for it.

Through Turn 1, the front went on me and I crashed breaking my wrist and got a nasty gash on my leg.

I'm really happy with my performance otherwise, and I'm more pumped than ever to get back on the bike and push hard to finish up the pointy end !

A big thanks to all the members of the bikes & scooters forum who have sent their well wishes, and everyone who has wished me well on facebook.

A special thanks to Dave Adams, Greg 'Zero' McNaught for helping me after the crash, and a huge thanks to Grid marshal Pete for getting my bike back to Ballarat for us !"
